What is the TMG Virtual Advocate?

The Virtual Advocate was first introduced as a low cost, immediately accessible way to obtain support for solving the business problems of healthcare providers. This service was reintroduced in 2007 to better meet the needs of our clients. The Marrell Group recognizes that many consumers have unscheduled and intermittent support needs which lend themselves to submitting a detailed question or problem online whenever the need arises. TMG does not operate a phone bank so this is one more way to get your information submitted immediately.

TMG offers the services of a network of experts, including other qualified individuals, with a quick turnaround (users can select from standard 3 business day service or a rapid 24 hour turnaround) for receiving an e-mail response. If follow-up recommendations are needed, simply check the box indicating you are making a resubmission, and we will contact you if needed. If you need more intensive assistance, can also submit a request for TMG to contact you.

How does the TMG Virtual Consultant service work?

Using the Virtual Consultant is a simple four-step process (see below). After submitting some background information and selecting the timeframe for a response, a detailed description of the problem or issue you would like to have addressed (up to 500 words) is submitted. TMG will generate a response of similar length using the resources within our group. The response will be formatted and reviewed by TMG management before sending it to your e-mail address. We will also attach any additional references or links to references that might be useful.

Please note that the expert(s) within The Marrell Group who generate the response will not be identified to you – and you will not be identified to them. In this way all responses are completely anonymous and objective. Marrell Group management will direct each request to the appropriate members of our group and will not use a particular expert if we feel a conflict of interest is created. Each problem is addressed in a collaborative fashion and may involve input from more than one expert. We monitor and track every submission and response and can direct your follow-up questions to the same expert(s) or to different experts at your request.

Instructions for Submitting an Inquiry

There is a simple three-step process:

  1. Register by answering a few client profile questions including your contact information. (Name, Address, Phone, E-mail)

  2. Identify the timeframe and the type of response

    a) STANDARD RESPONSE - 3 business days
    b) Contact me

  3. Submit your inquiry

Be as concise as possible since the quality of the response is impacted by how clearly the problem is stated. Include any relevant background information.
